We aren't just bad - we're really bad!

Oh boy!

We thought this would be a good way to keep each other informed. As it turns out it's ancient history.

Paul - thanks for the emails. Some days they are the bright spot. Humor is always good.

It's been a long time since the last post.

It's been too long since we last posted on our blog. We intended this to be dynamic, ongoing, video journal of family activity. Then we let it lie dormant for months on end. We need to do better and to get back into the update mode.

There are a number of things we intended to post. Such as: Randy's tennis, basketball, and merit badges. We still need to revisit some of those activities.

When you don't post frequently the motivation to check the blog diminishes.

We will try to do better.

Randy's shotgun merit badge

Last night after work we took Randy south of town to complete his shotgun shooting merit badge. He had to hit 12 out of 25 clay pigeons in two rounds. In the first round he hit 13 out of 17. In the second round he hit 12 out of 19. This completed his merit badge. The rest of the requirements he completed this past summer while he was a scout camp. He has two more merit badges to complete to earn his silver palm.

Vacation

We took some time this past week and went to the mountains. Paul, Rich and Randy are plotting a strategy to capture a ground squirrel. You know what they say about the best laid plans.

Miami is an OK place - lots of water

Scott, Julie and Landon are in Miami. They are close to lots of water. This picture of Landon was taken on a sandy beach at a lake behind their house.

Car Show

Back to the car show --

Paul, Rich and Randy are standing by Larry H. Miller's 1.8 million dollar Cobra. They wanted to take it for a "spin" but the answer was no - go figure.

Checking out the high country

We took a beautiful hike in the Windriver Mountains. We were checking out places for Mikal to go when he comes for vacation.
